For Avantages Services Financiers, confidentiality, security, and protection of private information has always been a priority. This policy is also extended to the computer system used at Avantages.  

Securities regulations require Avantages Services Financiers to ask the following information:

• Your name, address, occupation (employer and address) and date of birth

• A proof of identification, such as a driving license or a valid passport.

• Your annual income, net assets and liabilities, your investment knowledge and objectives, your risk tolerance and your investment time horizon.

• Spousal information might also be required when investing in particular products for joint accounts.

For accounts opened in the name of a company, corporate account, a trust fund, an investment club, or an estate, Avantages has the obligation to obtain all information pertaining to all individuals holding a direct relation to the entity. Ex. A Certificate of Incorporation, or Corporate Resolution indicating the signing officers of the entity.
